Dr. Daniel Green is a staff gastroenterologist at Lakeridge Hospital and holds an academic appointment of Assistant Professor of Medicine at Queen’s University. He also serves as Division Head, Gastroenterology for the Lakeridge Health Corporation. He completed his gastroenterology training at the University of Toronto and a fellowship in advanced therapeutic endoscopy at St. Michael’s Hospital. In addition to his expertise in general gastroenterology, hepatology, and endoscopy he has an interest in clinical research and is the Principal Investigator for several Phase III studies in Inflammatory Bowel Disease and various other gastrointestinal conditions. He is the medical advisor for the Durham East Chapter of the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of Canada and serves on the Executive Board of Directors for the Ontario Association of Gastroenterology. He has won several competitive funding awards and has multiple publications in peer reviewed journals.
